The Citadel in Victoria is really worth a visit. Gozo being predominantly catholic has churches that are lavishly decorated and many of the churches are lit at night. You will find some interesting museums to visit as well some exhibiting the huge wealth of the Catholic Church in solid silver.

If you have some spare cash, the two excursions that I would suggest are the Seaplane that will take you on a picturesque flight around the islands and leave you in Malta for the day. Be prepared to jostle for a window seat so that you can see the spectacular coast line. The plane flies fairly low so you can see a lot of detail.

The second excursion is to hire a boat for the day. We paid out the extra and had the boat to ourselves which is terrific as the captain will take you where you want to go, we were provided with coffee as well as afternoon tea and cooked fresh lunch of fish which has been caught that morning. We stopped off at numerous bays and swam with the fish. This was a magical experience. The captain told us to leap in the water with our snorkels and then he fed the fish. We had hundreds of fish all swimming around us much like a huge aquarium.
