A Perth-based motor trimming company has started an unique range of protective machine deals to the Queensland mining industry which are saving a number of the state's leading organizations thousands of dollars in replacement parts and preventative maintenance costs.

"That is the reason why we've developed our ram covers to be easily installed, they slip on and are protected either side by a patented clamp; the whole process needs about 45 minutes and can enhance the life of the rod and seals by several times.
"Since an excavator ram can cost in excess of $50,000, the cost savings are really stunning, which explains why the demand for our covers is fast boosting."
One of the first companies to fit the protective covers to its entire truck fleet was Western-Australia, at its mine in far north WA.
WA anf Rio Tinto in Queensland has also just placed a vast order for the sleeves, which MMT is producing in a range of security colors, including yellow and orange.
"We're finding that the more progressive companies are seeing the huge expense features, and our orders have increased by 20 per cent due to the fact first release into the Queensland industry only six months ago," Mr Spouge added.
"We're also working with a number of the larger miners to customized model protective sleeves for other plant and machinery, and this bespoke, tailor-made service is a place which we can be looking to grow into in the future."
The research and development work undertaken by MMT on the protective ram covers is an inclusion to the company's center market, which is centered on the furnish, installing and maintenance of premium suspension seats and seating products to the Australian mining, construction, engineering, creating and transport sectors.
